The Regional Young Investigators’ Meeting (RYIM) Chennai 2025 was held from 22–24 January 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) in collaboration with Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). The event successfully fostered regional collaborations among young investigators (YIs), clinicians, and researchers in medicine and allied health sciences.
The two-day meeting (22–23 January) focused on emerging healthcare technologies, precision medicine, AI in healthcare, vaccine science, and public health challenges. It featured plenary talks, panel discussions, YI talks, poster presentations, and rapid-fire “Spark Your Science” sessions. On 24 January, an IndiaBioscience-led “Crafting Your Career” (CYC) workshop provided career guidance for early-career researchers.
Key highlights included industry talks, a networking gala dinner with a cultural performance, and the Spark Your Science Tournament, where young researchers competed in engaging, fast-paced presentations. RYIM Chennai upheld its commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and scientific networking, creating opportunities for collaboration, skill development, and research advancements in biomedical sciences.
